So, have you ditched watching Caesar Milan harass and enforce the "alpha" attitude yet? If not you should because Victoria Stilwell from Animal Planet's It's Me or the Dog has brought positive dog training to the 21st century and is one of the most informative dog training shows on TV. Not only is the show entertaining to watch, especially when you see two Great Danes literally dragging their owners down the street, but you end up seeing more of what you are doing wrong in your own behavior and training vs. your dog's issues. Not that I'm saying there isn't any, but what a relief to see a trainer cracking down on irresponsible pet owners and being quite honest when they really shouldn't own that breed or that many dogs.
Now you can also listen to her Positively Podcasts that give you more training tips and techniques as well as an inside look at It's Me or the Dog and her life and work. I've been listening to these all week and you get a better understanding of her philosophy on training, life, and her sense of humor! Still can't get enough?
