Only a few more weeks until the summer edition of Renegade Craft Fair at the Fort Mason Pavilion in San Francisco. I'm so excited to go back and see my favorite vendors and this time I'm getting my own poem done by Silvi Alcivar. She will type up a poem on the spot and all you need to do is give her a word or concept. Maybe I'll bring a picture of the dogs and see what she can come up with! Or, better yet I'll have her make up a poem for my Drool Is Cool contest!
My first stop though at Renegade is going to be at the 3 Fish Studios booth to pick up another one of their amazing linocut prints. What drew me initially to them was the black and white Doggie Diner print, but now I see that they have a limited edition Doggie Diner print in color! Last year I ended up buying an original bear collage to start my "Bear Wall" theme, and I'm excited to get another one like the Kirche Bears piece above. The "Bear Wall" started because everyone thinks it is sooooo funny to call Foyle a bear, and I needed a theme for the craft fair or else I'd end up spending way too much money! It's just too easy!
Next up will be Aroo Studio to check out this Doxie collar, which would look cute on the girls, but Ernie may have an objection or two. They have offered to custom make one for Foyle so I may take them up on it this time.
My theme for the show this year is going to be "Home Sweet Home" since I just made a new entry table and would like to curate a welcome home wall above it. I'm hoping to find this Hello Card from Sass & Peril, and the Come Together print from Slide Sideways. Here is a complete list of vendors that will be there. I guarantee it will be worth going, and the best part is that you can get all of your Christmas shopping done really early!
