I need to take a lesson from Foyle and chill out a little more so I can stop tripping over things at work. He's so mellow and carefree and just wants to hang out with us and have fun, or go for a walk with the hounds and then come home and lay down in the grass. He's pretty much always happy and I strive to do the same most days, but this week is a tough one.
At work I have three projects under construction right now and everyone is trying to get things wrapped up before it starts raining but that means everyone in my world is working overtime and weekends to make sure it happens for the contractors. Translation = I'm stressed out and trying to make design changes on the fly but it has to work because it is being installed the next day....or better yet while I'm standing there watching!
So I need to remember "don't trip chocolate chip" - keep cool, keep it professional, and it will work out just fine. Just like Foyle does, except he's not always that professional, especially when he head buts me in the rear as he follows me into the kitchen because he knows I'm going to give him a treat. Can I call HR on him?
