Don't be fooled by the look on Hazel's face here, she's completely in love with these new toys we found by West Paw Design! In the picture above she's protecting them by laying on them so no one else will grab one and run away, and every time I walk into a new room she's protecting at least one toy from invaders. My dogs aren't hard on their toys so I'm not sure how long they would last under heavy, aggressive use, but so far the stitching and the squeekers have held up under several sessions of consecutive gnawings and playing.
The Tiny Turtle, Teddy for Puppy, and Puppy Pooch are only about 4.5" long and flat as a pancake so they're easily carried from room to room like Hazel has been doing all week. Too small for larger dogs but the perfect amount of bite for a dachshund's long 'ol nose! They all feel very durable and are made out of a strong corduroy fabric that looks like it will last through several washings and squeekings! Each toy runs around $5.00 so it won't break the bank which gives you an excuse to buy more than one and once you see how cute they are you'll definitely want to. I didn't order online so I can't vouch for shipping and customer service but I have a feeling you'll get personal service if/when you need it.
West Paw Design is a small manufacturing company that prides itself in designing eco-friendly, non-toxic dog products all made in Bozeman, Montana. (Extra bonus points for being made in the U.S.!) If you follow them on Facebook you can get to know them a little better through pictures of their employees hand making the toys and customers' dogs enjoying their products. So, overall we give the business and the toys a 4 paws up!
Disclaimer: West Paw did not sponsor this post, I bought the toys myself and this review is my personal opinion based on our experience with the toys.
