Last month I saw a discount on a Facebook page for BarkBox so I thought I would give it a try for a month since they've been getting a lot of press and good reviews over the web lately. I couldn't decide on the small and cute box or the big and bold box at first, but considering the hounds usually steal Foyle's toys and treats anyway the large dog box was the way to go. Well, last night the March box arrived and we were not disappointed!
There was a large stuffed bone from Harry Barker, a cool wool mouse with that was half the size of Hazel, two bags of treats, and a bag carrier. I was really happy that the Little Eats were low enough in protein that Foyle could enjoy them too, and the hounds went crazy for the liver crunch bars! By far the best goodie was the wool mouse which Hazel promptly ripped from my hands and ran around the house chewing! I'm wondering if there is even going to be a tail left when I get home! So overall the box was a hit and I'm dying to see what they have available in their small dog box!
I couldn't find the original coupon I used for $10 off, but here is another one that works:
- RetailMeNot has $10 off any subscription. (I just used the first one listed today and it worked)
They have a monthly subscription for $29, 3 month for $23/month, and 6 month for $18/month so obviously the longer the subscription the cheaper it is, but if you just want to try it out and see what it is like use the coupon! They mail the boxes out every month on the 15th so I was able to get mine within four days. Is it worth it? Well, I generally spend that much on toys and treats each month so for me I didn't mind and I thought the quality of the contents was very good. So yes, I thought the price with the discount was worth it. Full price? Maybe not, but that's where a longer subscription would be worthwhile. Give it a try and see if you like your BarkBox!
Disclaimer: This is not a paid or sponsored post. I bought the box myself and this is my own opinion of how my dogs liked the contents of the box.
