This week I've been focusing on just getting out there more and shooting and practicing using different types of lighting in different locations. I got up early yesterday to shoot during the "golden hour" which would have worked beautifully for what I had in mind if the building in front of my location didn't cast a heavy shadow over the dock. Lesson learned, now I know I need to back to the same location a bit later in the morning.
