This week is the beginning of a new series with Elizabeth from My Life In Blog Years called "One Picture, Two Ways" where we are going to take an original picture and make adjustments to give it a unique look. Typically I don't use photoshop actions so I thought that this would be a great way for me to learn more about creating different effects and styles and see how the series evolves for me.
For our first photo Elizabeth sent over a cute picture of Penny looking through a railing which you can see above in the original format. I like the browns in her face so I thought I would play off of that and give the photo a sepia and vintage look.
Since I'm new to Photoshop Actions I went over to the wonderful blog, The Coffee Shop Blog, to see what Rita had available that would tie into the browns in the original photo. The action Coffee Shop Downtown gives the original a warm, sepia glow but still keeps the contrast of the black and tan and a hint of green in the background.
Hop on over to see how Elizabeth enhanced her photo! Stay tuned for next week's edition of One Picture Two Ways!
