A few months ago we took a dream vacation to Ireland and spent 10 days roaming around the country, taking in all the green landscapes and stopping at all the popular tourist spots including the Dark Hedges in Ballymoney that you see above. Unfortunately quite a few of the trees had fallen down last winter in heavy storms so it didn't have the full allee look, but the trees were still spectacular and it was fun trying to get the best view that didn't include another tourist. It's still an active road so we were trying to dodge local traffic and tourists driving down the road, only to stop right when you wanted to take your photograph. I had to run way ahead of a tour group that had just been dropped off by a bus and I knew if I didn't get down the road quickly then I wouldn't have been able to get this photograph.
One of the biggest lessons we learned when shooting in a crowded, popular area is to just be polite and ask people if they would mind moving for a few minutes, then offer to take a picture of them too! Who wouldn't want their picture taken by a professional?
Enjoy your week!
